This Privacy Policy explains how Savix+ collects, uses, stores, protects, shares, and deletes personal information when you use the Savix+ mobile application, website, platform, software, services, recommendations, notifications, offer discovery tools, financial insights, and related services (collectively the "Savix+ Services").

By using Savix+, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use Savix+.

1Who We Are

Savix+ is a digital spend-optimization and financial-assistance platform that helps users discover relevant credit card benefits, bank offers, merchant promotions, discounts, cashback opportunities, rewards, and personal finance insights. Savix+ may use artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, personalization models, and recommendation systems to provide more relevant suggestions.

Savix+ is not a bank, credit provider, investment adviser, broker, insurance adviser, or licensed financial institution unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

2Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • The Savix+ mobile app on iOS and Android
  • The Savix+ website
  • Savix+ user accounts
  • Savix+ recommendation and personalization services
  • Savix+ notifications and communications
  • Savix+ customer support interactions
  • Savix+ merchant, bank, card, and partner offer features
  • Any future Savix+ financial insight, budgeting, savings, or investment-related features

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, banks, card issuers, merchants, payment providers, app stores, or external services that Savix+ does not own or control.

3Information We Collect

Savix+ may collect the following categories of information, depending on the features you use.

3.1 Account Information

When you create or manage a Savix+ account, we may collect: full name, email address, mobile number (optional), country or region, preferred language, password or authentication credentials, account status, user ID, profile preferences, and communication preferences.

Purpose: To create your account, authenticate you, provide support, secure your account, personalize your experience, and communicate important service information.

3.2 Financial Preference and Spend-Optimization Information

Savix+ may collect information you voluntarily provide, such as: banks you use, credit card types or card issuers, card benefit preferences, spending categories, preferred merchants, shopping interests, cashback / rewards / discount preferences, budgeting or savings preferences, financial goals (where enabled), and product comparison preferences.

Purpose: To personalize offers, recommend relevant cards or benefits, suggest savings opportunities, provide spend insights, and improve the relevance of Savix+ recommendations.

3.3 Transaction, Receipt, or Purchase Information

If you choose to upload, scan, connect, or manually enter purchase-related information, Savix+ may collect: merchant name, purchase amount, purchase category, date and time of purchase, receipt images or uploaded documents, payment method type, card issuer or card type (where provided), offer redemption information, and cashback or reward eligibility information.

Purpose: To provide spend insights, identify eligible offers, calculate possible savings, verify offer relevance, improve recommendations, and help you track benefits.

3.4 Device and App Information

When you use Savix+, we may automatically collect: device model, operating system and version, app version, device language, device region, IP address, device identifiers, session information, crash logs, diagnostic data, performance data, security signals, and app interaction events.

Purpose: To operate the app, detect bugs, improve performance, prevent fraud, enhance security, troubleshoot issues, and understand feature usage.

3.5 Location Information

Savix+ may collect location information only if you allow it through your device settings. This may include approximate location based on IP address, city or region, device location (if permission granted), and nearby merchant or offer location context.

Purpose: To show nearby offers, location-relevant promotions, merchant deals, card benefits, and region-specific app content. You can disable location access at any time through your device settings.

3.6 Camera, Photos, and File Access

Savix+ may request access to your camera, photos, or files only when needed for app features such as: scanning receipts, uploading documents, scanning QR codes, capturing card benefit information, uploading proof of purchase, or supporting customer service requests.

Purpose: To enable scanning, upload, verification, support, and document-based app features.

3.7 Notifications and Communication Data

If you enable notifications or subscribe to communications, we may collect and use: push notification token, email preferences, SMS or WhatsApp communication preferences (where enabled), notification interaction data, marketing consent status, and unsubscribe status.

Purpose: To send service alerts, offer notifications, security messages, product updates, and promotional communications where permitted.

3.8 Support and Feedback Information

When you contact Savix+, we may collect: name, email address, phone number, support request details, screenshots or attachments you provide, feedback / survey responses / complaints, and communication history.

Purpose: To respond to support requests, improve the app, investigate issues, handle complaints, and maintain service quality.

3.9 Usage and Analytics Information

Savix+ may collect information about how users interact with the app, including: screens viewed, features used, offers clicked, recommendations viewed, search queries, time spent in the app, onboarding progress, user journeys, error events, and referral source.

Purpose: To improve user experience, personalize recommendations, measure app performance, improve product design, and understand feature effectiveness.

3.10 Advertising, Affiliate, and Attribution Information

Savix+ may collect or process information relating to: offer clicks, affiliate referrals, campaign source, promotion engagement, sponsored offer interaction, app install attribution, advertising identifiers (where permitted), and consent status for tracking or advertising.

Purpose: To measure campaign performance, attribute referrals, manage partner compensation, identify relevant offers, and support sponsored or affiliate features.

3.11 Sensitive Personal Information

Savix+ does not intend to collect highly sensitive personal information unless necessary for a specific feature and legally permitted. Savix+ will not request or store card CVV, card PIN, online banking passwords, or full payment credentials for standard offer-discovery features.

5Legal Basis for Processing

Depending on your country, Savix+ may process personal information based on one or more of the following legal grounds:

  • Contractual necessity — where processing is required to provide Savix+ Services to you.

AI-generated recommendations may not always be complete, current, or suitable for your personal circumstances. You should verify all financial, promotional, and merchant information directly with the relevant provider before making a decision. Savix+ may use aggregated, anonymized, pseudonymized, or privacy-protected data to improve its models, subject to applicable law.

7How We Share Information

Savix+ may share information with the following categories of recipients.

7.1 Service Providers

We may share information with trusted vendors who help us operate Savix+, including cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, authentication providers, customer support tools, notification providers, email and SMS providers, crash reporting tools, security monitoring tools, AI infrastructure providers, and payment processors (if paid features are introduced).

These providers are only authorized to process information as needed to provide services to Savix+ and must protect information according to applicable confidentiality and data protection obligations.

7.2 Banks, Card Issuers, Merchants, and Partners

Savix+ may share limited information with banks, card issuers, merchants, payment networks, affiliate partners, or offer providers where necessary to display or validate offers, track referrals, attribute conversions, manage cashback or rewards, support merchant campaigns, confirm offer eligibility, process partner payments, or resolve user support issues.

Savix+ will not sell your personal financial profile to banks or merchants for unrelated purposes without appropriate notice and consent where required.

7.3 App Stores and Platform Providers

When you download or use Savix+ through Apple App Store or Google Play, Apple or Google may independently collect and process information according to their own privacy policies and platform terms. Savix+ does not control Apple's or Google's independent processing of app store, device, payment, and platform data.

7.4 Legal, Regulatory, and Safety Disclosures

We may disclose information if required or permitted by law, including to courts, regulators, law enforcement authorities, government agencies, tax authorities, professional advisers, fraud prevention bodies, and dispute resolution bodies. We may also disclose information to protect the rights, safety, property, and security of Savix+, users, partners, or others.

7.5 Business Transfers

If Savix+ is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, restructuring, financing, asset sale, or business transfer, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

7.6 Aggregated or De-Identified Information

Savix+ may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you, for purposes such as market insights, product analytics, partner reporting, merchant performance analysis, trend analysis, and investor or business reporting.

8Selling Personal Information

Savix+ does not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense of directly exchanging your personal information for money.

However, some privacy laws define "sale" or "sharing" broadly to include advertising, affiliate tracking, cross-context behavioral advertising, or certain partner disclosures. If Savix+ introduces such activities in jurisdictions where additional rights apply, Savix+ will provide required disclosures and opt-out mechanisms.

9International Data Transfers

Savix+ may store or process information in Sri Lanka and in other countries where Savix+, its service providers, cloud providers, analytics providers, AI providers, or support partners operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country of residence.

Where required, Savix+ will use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as contractual protections, technical safeguards, access controls, and other lawful transfer mechanisms.

10Data Retention

Savix+ retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods may depend on whether your account is active, the type of information, legal and regulatory requirements, tax and accounting obligations, fraud prevention needs, security requirements, dispute resolution needs, backup and disaster recovery cycles, product analytics needs, and consent status.

When you request account deletion, Savix+ will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we are legally required or permitted to retain certain information for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security investigations, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, or enforcement of our Terms and Conditions.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to:

13Sri Lanka Privacy Rights

For users in Sri Lanka, Savix+ will aim to handle personal data in accordance with applicable Sri Lankan data protection law, including the Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022. You may contact Savix+ to request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or other privacy-related assistance, subject to applicable legal requirements.

14Australia Privacy Rights

For users in Australia, Savix+ may be subject to the Australian Privacy Act and Australian Privacy Principles depending on business structure, turnover, data practices, and applicable law. Australian users may contact Savix+ to request access to or correction of personal information.

15Singapore Privacy Rights

For users in Singapore, Savix+ may be subject to the Personal Data Protection Act. Singapore users may contact Savix+ to request access to or correction of personal data, withdraw consent, or raise privacy concerns, subject to applicable law.

17Children's Privacy

Savix+ is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, to use Savix+.

Savix+ does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child without proper consent, we will take steps to delete that information.

However, no system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your device, login credentials, and account secure.

22Data Accuracy

Savix+ aims to keep information accurate and up to date where reasonably possible. You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide to Savix+ is accurate, complete, and current.

Offer, merchant, bank, and card information may change without notice. You should verify offer terms, eligibility, expiry dates, fees, and conditions directly with the relevant provider before acting.

23Marketing Communications

Savix+ may send you marketing communications about offers, promotions, features, partner campaigns, and product updates where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing communications by:

  • Using unsubscribe links
  • Updating in-app communication preferences
  • Disabling push notifications
  • Contacting Savix+ support

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send important service, security, account, legal, or transactional messages.

24Financial Information and Open Banking

Savix+ may in the future introduce integrations with banks, card issuers, open banking providers, account aggregation services, payment providers, or financial data providers. If introduced, Savix+ will update this Privacy Policy before collecting or processing such information.

Savix+ will not collect banking login credentials directly. If financial account connectivity is introduced, Savix+ will use regulated or trusted third-party providers with appropriate consent, security, and compliance controls.

25Sponsored Offers and Affiliate Disclosure
